Anyone else?

My son will be 18 months tomorrow and the last week he's been horrible! The crying and whining never stops 🥴I'm assuming it's a leap but holy it's by far the worst leap he's had. I can't leave his side and he no longer listens at all. The constant whining is making me crazy! Is this normal??

No leaps going on right now but my son is the same way.  He was amazing coming out of this last leap and now is a temper tantruming clinging holy terror.

I'm going through the same thing right now! I can't even cook without him pulling my legs and crying wanting to be carried. I'm 6 weeks pregnant so I thought maybe he knew and felt threatened lol but glad to know this is normal and just a phase.

I know what you mean. My daughter went through this three weeks ago. Refused to walk, had temper tantrums, super moody, wanted to be carried everywhere.... it was seriously like walking on egg shells bc one minute she was happy and the next she was whining and throwing herself. luckily it only lasted a week.

I have a newborn also so I’m thinking jealousy is in play too. I’ve had to give her to grandparents for a sleepover once a week just for a mental break for me 😭

You’re not alone! It’s rather exhausting mentally to be honest 😭😩 and it probably doesn’t help that my daughter has always been very “I know what I want” so I feel like it’s been extra rough. Plus I’ve noticed that it’s getting a little difficult to put her down for naps and bedtime. I feel like it’s a constant gamble on if she will wake up when I lay her down. She currently falls asleep on me and then I put her down for sleep.

Anyone else?
