Is it normal to find baby’s heart beat then the next minute you can’t?

I found it today at 11 weeks, then tried again for a good 30 minutes and couldn’t find anything. I’m assuming it’s normal cause he or she is still so tiny but just looking for reassurance 😅

Your baby is so small at 11 weeks that the moment you poked it to get its heartbeat, it moved away and hid from you. Totally normal

I went in for monitoring at the hospital around 23 weeks and they had to keep moving the monitor because the baby would kick it or squirm away! So I’m not surprised you can’t reliably find it yourself so early. 
I was too worried I’d scare myself too much so I never got a home Doppler.

I found my babys heartbeat at 10 weeks and some change. I even recorded it and asked my doctor cause I wasn’t sure! So you definitely can hear it but I would say a lot of people find it hard to find since its sooo tiny. I would wait a week or two so it can be easier!

At 11 weeks you probabaly didn’t find baby but maybe placenta or your own heartbeat. Our doctors office recommended no Doppler before 16 weeks because baby is just tiny and it causes more stress than anything

At 11 weeks it’s doubtful that you are getting baby’s heartbeat. It’s probably yours. Even at 30 weeks I had trouble getting mine with a Doppler.

You probably picked up your own heartbeat. At that GA its hard to find the babies heartbeat but not impossible. You could have but with the baby being so so small and could have moved back just enough for you not to hear it anymore, i wouldnt stress it. 
Also dont use it too much because it is unclear just how safe it is to use at home dopplers more than a couple times. Just dont stress it. Now if you were 20 weeks and coukdnt find it no matter what id worry
