Anyone else dying with sleep deprivation?

I feel like this stage is worse than newborn stage

I haven't gotten more than a combined total of 5 hours of sleep (max) in a night since my son was born. He wakes up sometimes every hour...sometimes an occasional 2 hour stretch. It's hell. It's misery. But...my daughter was the same way until around 18 months old so I know there is hope in sight someday.....although I might die from sleep deprivation prior to that moment now lol.

My daughter sleeps good from like 11 on but before then lord help me I've put this child to sleep 5-7 times from 8-11 😤

So we tried sleep training and it worked until her 5-8mth regression. Then she got used to us cuddling and rocking her to sleep. She's 10.5mths now and sleeps from 6(7)pm-7-8am. She only wakes up if she's wet herself. 
We started by switching her feeds. So she was waking up for a feeding but we switched it to water. We started with a 5oz bottle and every few days removed an oz until she realized it wasn't worth it to cry for an oz of water. 
Then we stopped going in as soon as she started crying. So, at first we let her whine for about 10 mins and she normally fell back asleep at the 9 minute mark. If she doesn't stop after ten, we know there is something wrong. Now if she wakes up, she whines for maybe two minutes before she goes back to sleep.
We also leave a no-drip cup in her crib so of she does wake up and is thirsty, she drinks some water and puts herself back to sleep. It's been a life saver, especially because I'm going back to work in a month so I need her to sleep through the night

Have you tried sleep training?  It seems cruel in the moment and pulls at your heart strings, but after a few days everyone is sleeping better. My husband did it and we joke that he saved our marriage. But really he saved a lot more.
