What are your thoughts on getting covid-19 vaccinations during pregnancy?

I’ve heard so many mixed things about this. I’ve heard that they have been working on the covid vaccines for years now because there have been different strands of covid which is how they were able to make the vaccines for COVID-19 so quickly. There are no live viruses in the vaccines. Of course I am still conflicted. I’ve spoken to my doctor about getting vaccinated and she emailed me a bunch of articles on it. She said it had to be my decision and she would support me either way. I am 21 weeks pregnant and I’m kind of leaning on getting vaccinated because it’d probably be way worse if I caught Covid-19 while pregnant, but I’m still on the fence about it all. I am an essential worker so I’d be qualified as soon as I want to take it but I’ve been holding off due to lack of research and information. What are your thoughts?? Thank you.
