My doctor checked me today bc of some episodes of contractions and changes in discharge that I felt were similar to when I lost my mucus plug with my last baby. She said no dilation, but cervix was soft. They scheduled me for an ultrasound next week to measure cervix length and to check on my low lying placenta. She didn’t say a whole lot other than they would be keeping an eye on it and if my contractions start again and last more than 2 hours to head to L&D. Anyone have a soft cervix in second trimester? Did you go early or to term??
