Is it normal that your babies dad never interacts ?

My babies dad never goes to play with  her or picks her up unless I tell him to and he’s never changed a diaper and she’s 3 months old . Every time I ask him to change her diaper Clothes anything he has excuse

Not normal. I get he can have postpartum issues as well but overall he needs to come clean about why he isn’t doing anything.
My husband was scared of babies at first because he had never been around one when we had our first so that was understandable he had to take baby steps to care for a baby. But now he is a pro. So unless that’s the reason something don’t add up

My husband was afraid he’d hurt the baby because he was so little and he’s a wimp when it comes to poop, so he had all sorts of reasons not to change diapers or give baths in the beginning. I don’t think he changed one at all the first month or 2. But he still wanted interact with him. He loved talking to and making faces or just watching him sleep. And every day after work for the 3 months I was on maternity leave he’d ask how our day was.
Going to be honest our son is now 2 and hubby still try’s to avoid diapers and baths but on the plus side he doesn’t have minor panic attacks when I ask like he used too😂
I would think it’s strange he doesn’t interact at all...does he ask about the baby/look at them while you’re holding them? If not you probably need to talk to him to see what’s going on.
