Positive hpt but negative at doctors?

Has this happened to anyone?
I've taken 2 tests at home that were positive (first was faint, second was blazing). I had a first appointment this afternoon and their test came back negative. 
My app says I'm 5 weeks but idk. I'm waiting on a blood test to confirm.. 😭

With my first pregnancy I had 2 positive at home and the doc said it was negative. Did a blood test and confirmed I was pregnant, now have a healthy daughter who will be 2 in April.

I had a similar situation, it came up at the office as so faint the nurse didn't see it but a blood test confirmed it. The urine tests they have aren't nearly as sensitive as the tests we can get at home.

So if it’s too faint some doctors won’t take time to notice it or will just call it negative

When i went to my old Dr he only waited 30secs on a cheap test & said it was negative. He reluctantly gave me a referral for a blood test & it came back very positive lol!

That did happen to me and it ended up being a chemical. Too blood tests showed my hcg was decreasing. Hope thats not the case for you. Doctors use dollar urine tests.
