Hair Dye while Pregnant ??? 🧐

Have any of you ladies got your hair done at the salon while pregnant? I’m talking like bleaching , my doctor said there’s not any harm in it but I’m a little skeptical. I’m hearing from some women it can be dangerous for the baby and some people saying it’s fine ? Have any of you mommies gotten your hair bleached or dyed while pregnant before?? Thankyou

I’m a hairstylist and I do my hair constantly when I’m pregnant. The color can be a bit strong smelling so just be careful of that. For me, I love the smell of hair color even more so when pregnant! Haha

My doctor says after the first trimester in a well ventilated area.

I’m blonde and get my roots rebleeched every 8 weeks and have been throughout pregnancy. Baby’s fine

If going to a salon, tell them you are pregnant and they won't bring the colour to your scalp, just off it... esspeically  in the first trimester just so it doesn't get absorbed into your  bloodstream through your scalp... but as long as there is good ventilation and your not box dyeing it every week it's fairly safe to do

I bleached my hair at 5-6 weeks pregnant and the whole thing took 4 hours. Perfectly safe and no harm at all! Go get your hair done☺️
