Is it normal to be itchy when you are pregnant?!?

Answer

It can be. Hormonal change an cause itching. But if it’s sever itching that keeps you up all night and in later pregnancy it could be PUPPS or Obstetric cholostasis. PUPPS is not dangerous, just extremely itchy and normally accompanied by a rash and normall not on palms or soles of feet. Where cholostasis can be dangerous to mom and baby as it’s a condition with the liver that results in to much bile in the bloodstream. Your doctor can test for it with a simple blood test. Normally there’s no rash, and the itch is often on palms and sole of feet, but not always and can be an all over itch.
