So I had the copper iud for about a year and a half and loved it. Love that it is no hormones so reduces the chance of certain cancers etc compared to the pill and hormone contraceptives.

But, I did get pregnant after a year and a half and there was no sign of it being in the wrong place. My baby girl was fine thankfully and we were able to remove the iud.

Now my little one is 4 months old I need to think about contraception!

Do I get the iud again??? Apparently you’re womb is more squishy when breastfeeding so my dr won’t do it until 6 months postpartum.

We probably do want to have another baby and try again maybe in about a years time.

Not sure wether to get the iud again, just use condoms or go on the mini pill for a year.

I used to be on the combined pill and it gave me migraines then I was on the mini pill for a couple of years.

I just don’t like taking hormones every single day.
