Hi, I’m a stay at home mom and lately every time my husband gets ready for work our son starts freaking out, crying because he knows he’s about to leave. My son throw full temper tantrums. I’m having a hard time with this because I hate to see him so upset. I’m sure someone has dealt with this before and I’m wonder if u have any tips on what we can do so that this doesn’t happen. At first I tried starting to get my husband to start saying I have to get ready for work and I will be back a little bit later. Then when he’s leaving to walk out the door he gives him a kiss and says bye bye so u in a little bit. It seemed to be working but then it stopped. I’m not sure why. It would be greatly appreciated if someone had any ideas on what we could do. Thanks in advance.
