My baby was emergency c-section February 6th he was born 33 weeks and 2 days he just turned 35 weeks today - two weeks old Sunday- he has been taking strides and I am so proud of him - he will be here in the nicu for almost 2 weeks he’s off his oxygen today will be day 3 he’s officially eating almost more then half his bottles but they will gavage the rest that he don’t finish ... I know he’s not quite ready to go home he needs to be eating at least 80% of his bottle for 2 days consecutively to be off the tube and then pass his car seat test where he don’t lose oxygen while in his seat... we moved to the step down rooms yesterday so they can strictly focus on his bottle feeding and out of the intensive nicu... I’m so ready for him to be home and the drs arnt giving me anything just keep saying “several” weeks and I know there not allowed to give me a day but I’m so ansy and want him home any mommas out there who had babies this early and on the same path or have any idea or nicu nurses out there !
