Custody/Visitation?

How does custody/visitation work? I’m 18 and I’m 15 weeks pregnant and my child’s father is 22 his mother is saying that they are going to fight me in court for full custody.. Can they take my baby away?

If youre unfit would be the only reason they take your baby away.

So it really depends on your living situation, income, ect. 
If the judge thinks the baby would be better with dad then he could get primary custody. Essentially meaning that he would get baby the majority of the time. But you would still get to see baby. 
Be prepared for a fight. Get a good lawyer if you think he serious.

Be prepared for shared custody. The only way he would get full would be if they could prove you are unfit.
