UPS Sucks

Im 5 months pregnant and they have let me scan at the top of the belt the whole time until today.

Today they needed me to load and I refused and said if they needed a loader I’d switch with the man doing surepost, and they refused me sure post ( which is our small package sort).. even though I’ve been there longer than half of our crew.

Our on road supervisor (my direct supervisor.) said seniority doesn’t apply to preload workers. But it does if the older people want to do something so what’s the difference...

I never got any notes from my doctor because they’ve left me alone this long so I figured I just wouldn’t need them.

I’m just not sure what to do about this situation.

I told them I’m calling in until I can get a note sometime next week.

I was doing the feeder run to lousiville, KY for two and half months so my body got used to doing literally nothing because all you do for that job is drive and wait while loaders lid your truck for you.

I’m on a weight restrictions due to problems with placenta detachment and placenta previa.

they were talking about possible bed rest at my last appointment but they’re giving it three more weeks to check it again before making that call.

The doctor can give me a note which is all my supervisor wants, I just can’t understand why they waited this long to make a big deal about it all.

My doctors office is closed because of bad weather so I don’t even know when I’ll be able to get a note.

I’m just so sick and stressed over this and the favoritism that’s been shown.
