What do you think? Is it weird for symptoms to come and go in early pregnancy?

Yesterday, I think I was 6dpo and I was having the most terrible breast and nipple pain. I mean sharp af. Stopped me in my tracks. I don’t get this symptom before my period. However, this morning at 7dpo, they feel a little sore but not sharp like they did yesterday. I wonder if this happens in early pregnancy? I know implantation can happen between 6dpo to even late as 14dpo. Yesterday, I also had weird discharge. It was yellow and stretchy like boogers. My cramping has subsided too. I haven’t taken any tests yet. I want to wait until 8dpo/9dpo for frer.
