Anyone still using bottles ?

My LO takes one bottle of cows milk in the morning upon waking up. He drinks water out of open cups and straw cups but he will only drink milk out of a bottle so we have kept his morning milk bottle. I want to be done with bottles but then he would be having zero milk. Thoughts? Thanks!!

I nursed him until two months ago and he refused a bottle when transitioning to cows/oat milk. Now he’s a bottle fiend and gets 3 in the day and I have zero concerns or complaints about it lol. He finds great comfort in his “bubba” and at 16 months old, we’re not in a hurry to take that away from him :)

My little girl loves her milk. I give her out of bottle because she prefers it. They still little so why take it away. She still has 3 times a day cows milk to rehydrate her after naps.

We do cows milk in the morning with breakfast and with dinner. She’s also still getting a bottle before bed. Will be getting rid of that very soon. It took my daughter about a week getting used to drinking milk I think because it was cold. I tried about three different cups too and we finally found some that she liked. She doesn’t drink a lot of milk most days which is why we are still giving a bottle at night.

We used Dr. Browns bottles when my LO was still on formula. When we switched to milk we started using the Dr. Browns soft nipple sippy cups. They looked so much like her bottle she never cared. I highly recommend them! You can order them on Amazon. We still use them but she also will drink from a straw and open cup. It’s just whatever we feel like using right then.

We still do 1 bottle in the morning and 1 at night. My LO refuses to drink milk out of anything except a bottle. I tried like 5 different types of cups 🤷‍♀️

🙋‍♀️ Yep, mine still does - exact same thing, one first thing in the morning and that's it. I posted this same question the Parenting forum and the general consensus seemed to be that it's fine until they're 18 months and then cut it off cold turkey. Keep offering milk throughout the day in other cups but if they never drink it not to worry. As long as they're getting calcium and vitamin D from other sources they don't need milk. 
My LO's main issue with the morning bottle is that he wakes up starving and the bottle is the fastest way to get something in his tummy. But I'll just have to prep some yogurt the night before or something and have it ready to go right when he gets up. 🤷‍♀️
