So I recently got divorced. My fertility specialist had told me that I had extremely low chances of getting pregnant. I still tried with my ex stupidly thinking that a baby might bring us closer together. Well it never happened although he had great sperm count levels and all. My question is if I am now with a new boyfriend and we are very sexually active with my 47 years of age. Should I take birth control? Is there a risk that I may become pregnant still with such a low chance from my fertility specialist.
