Horrible Obgyn visit to confirm chemical?

Vi

Has anyone else had what felt like a last straw appointment when getting a chemical pregnancy confirmed?

Short version of chemical:

I started spotting the same day I got my positive pregnancy test, a few days later I started bleeding. Dr. Ordered progesterone and hcg levels. Hcg levels were rising normal but progesterone was almost nonexistent. I can tell in my charts dr. Requested progesterone prescription on Monday but because of the winter storms the staff didn’t call it in until Thursday.

Anyway bleeding had slowed but picked back up on Thursday and I was able to get a Saturday appointment.

Dr. Visit:

I was taken back for vitals and urin test and told to wait in the waiting room for an ultrasound room to open up. 30 minutes later the nurse comes back and takes me to a normal room and said since you’re due she’s going to do your annual while you’re here and left. Dr came in and said well you can stop taking the progesterone....turns out my hcg had dropped below what a urin test can read so they weren’t going to do any other tests. I somehow held it together until I was at checkout but looking back I just feel like the staff handled that horribly, I went from phone calls telling me it looks bad but your levels are rising appropriately which is a good sign to no one even telling me I lost the pregnancy just put me in a different room then originally planned...

I usually go to one of their other locations but since it was a Saturday it was the only open, and I love the staff at my normal location..

I started with this Dr. in the middle of my first pregnancy when my original moved away. I loved her during pregnancy but since we’ve been trying again I feel like she brushes off my fertility concerns. She hadn’t even looked in my records to know I was on progesterone with my 1st pregnancy.

Would you be looking for a different practice?
