What to expect at my first apt?

I called my doctor to schedule my first prenatal visit for March 15th, they don’t wanna see me till 8 weeks. They told me they are doing a intravaginal ultrasound and a culture swab for STDs. Will these hurt or just be uncomfortable. I just want to know what to expect.

I think that depends on who is doing it. I've had 6 vaginal ultrasounds this pregnancy and only one hurt because the tech was very aggressive. The other 5 weren't even uncomfortable.
Swabs just feel like nothing IMO

None of it will hurt maybe just some pressure or slightly uncomfortable. That’s so exciting!!!

They put gel on the ultrasound wand. It's a little weird, but not painful. And it's exciting to see a little something in there
