Working moms & dinners!
What in the world do you do? I have a 4yo and 1.5yo and I try to do crockpot or really quick meals like skillet chicken or something stovetop because our oven takes forever to heat up, but sometimes neither work out and I just vowed that we would not get fast food again. (We have been 1x a week when I’m at my end or forget to defrost meat or have to run errands after work and don’t have time, etc) I usually get home at 515/530. And we eat at 630, which sounds like decent enough time but I also have both of them usually in their most needy phase of the day, my youngest gets really clingy and screams and throws himself and gets into anything and everything. So it’s extremely challenging. I’m also a single mom so I don’t have the option to have them occupied by someone else for a few minutes. Maybe I could prep in the am? But at the same time it’s not always realistic as I try to have time in the Bible in the am and do a 20-30min workout. I feel at such a loss! I know so many moms work and cook/prep obviously so I’m hoping for tips! I’ve never been the best at cooking/prepping and hate it but do it for my kids and try to keep it as healthy/whole as possible..
