I just got a call from my gynecologist that I had an abnormal pap and I need to go in for a colposcopy. Given my age(I'll be 27 in April) and my past history with the wart causing strain of HPV they are on high alert. I am a little scared. I also read you can't have sex after, and while I'm sure they will go over everything with me at my appointment, I was wondering if anyone could give me real life experiences. I cry every time I get a vaginal exam, I'm just super sensitive, so I am absolutely terrified of the potential of burning, and a possible biopsy.
