Hey just need a bit of an insight on what a planned c.section is like ?!?!

I had emergency c section with my first pregnancy and it was kind of traumatic. I was lying shaking on the theatre table felt sick as dog but I think it was due to the remi-fentynal pain relief I was taking during the labor.. I’m just wondering if a planned csection is it same and what is it like getting the epidural when not in pain because I really don’t remember how it felt getting the epidural
