Quick, easy, cheap, dinner with chicken?

Question

I will be going to the store on my way home from work. I have some chicken at home I can use. I don't just want to make baked chicken with a couple sides.
It's just for my husband and I (and leftovers for him to take to work tomorrow). I'm looking to spend no more than $5-10.
Oh, and I do have some frozen pork chops I could thaw instead.

So how cheap these will be will also depend on what you regularly keep in your pantry. We usually have the spices and soy sauce so it’s fairly cheap for us but one of my fav things to do with chicken is: marinate the chicken with juice from an orange, garlic powder, ginger, salt & pepper. Then sauté in a pan. White rice and roasted broccoli on the side, drizzle soy sauce on top. 
Another good one is: buy a box of stuffing mix, a couple potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and some cheddar cheese. Cube and season the chicken (salt, pep, garlic powder, onion powder) and sauté. Make some mashed potatoes and make the stuffing. Then layer in a baking dish; chicken, cream of mushroom soup, mashed potatoes, cheese, stuffing. Bake for like 25-30 minutes at 350. We usually do a roasted veggie as a side.

Get a bag of long grain rice, chicken broth, frozen broccoli and shredded cheddar cheese. Each item is only $1-2. Dice up your chicken and cook in a pan, then add chicken broth and cook the rice. Let it simmer until fully evaporated, add a cup of cheese (or however cheesy you like it). Top lightly with salt and pepper. Cook the broccoli separately then mix in (steamable bags are often cheaper near me and make it super easy!). Then you have an inexpensive healthy dinner!

If you have a pressure cooker my favs are bbq pulled chicken, chicken taco bowls or chicken chili Verde. Cheap and super quick and easy to make. 
If not there's always chicken Alfredo or chicken pesto pasta. Or you could always cook the chicken in a pan (I make a garlic butter chicken that way) and serve with rice and veggies 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m making chicken chili tonight. Maybe not the healthiest but super yummy. 
1 onion, diced
1 can black beans
1 can white beans, both drained/rinsed
1 can corn, do not drain!
1 can Rotel
1 can fire roasted tomatoes 
1 packet of ranch powder 
1 brick of cream cheese 
Chicken, use whatever you have
1 tsp cumin
1 tbs chili powder

Cheesy rice and chicken casserole is easy. Really any casserole that you can add chicken to. If you have pasta at home chicken parm and pasta. Stir fry with chopped chicken. Homemade chicken strips. Some sort of noodle soup with chicken. Pulled chicken sandwiches.
