So my best friend got in a relationship a month ago. It was nice at first, she was really happy and I was happy for them. But now things are shifting. I haven’t seen her in weeks. She only talks to me when she needs something or is upset. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy she found someone who makes her happy, but that doesn’t mean i just stop existing or only exist when it’s convenient for her. I’ve tried to tell her, I FaceTimed her the other day to talk about it and she stopped me mid sentence because her boyfriend called her and she hung up. She knows this is something that bothers me because it happened with her last relationship too. And I’m not the only friend she does it to. It’s all of her friends and it’s so irritating. I’ve talked to her once in the past 2 days, and it was her asking for a ride to work and I couldn’t give her one so she stopped answering. I’m just so frustrated.
