Due date estimation vs scans??

Ladies I am curious.
For those that have had scans recently & knew when there ovulation day was...
Based on ovulation when was you due??
Based on scan when was you due??
This is a subject that always confuses me. I'm pregnant with #5 & regardless of knowing my ovulation day I never get my due date correct im always a week or 2 earlier then I thought. HELP lol

You go off of your last period. My due date and LMP were alway on target (off a day or two). I ovulate anywhere from cd10-16.

Even knowing the exact day you ovulated, which is not always accurate and is often different than people think it is, doesn’t make it right on. How long did it take for the sperm to reach the egg? How long did it take to implant? all these things factor when the due date is. An ultrasound around 8-12 weeks is a better estimate on when your due date is. But If it’s only off a few days from the estimated due date you can calculate based off of your list missed period, they usually just keep that original due date.

With my daughter I matched exactly at 12 weeks and I went into labour that day 🙃

My estimated due date based on last menstrual period (New Year’s Eve) matched up EXACTLY with the estimate from my growth scan! Doctor says due date is Oct 7-9. (He doesn’t like to give one day.)

I had my first appointment today and my due date was based on the measurements not my period. Hoping at my 8 week I'll get a definite due date because the measurements were 3 days behind
