For me personally know, I am 42, growing up I thought by the time I was 30 I will be married and have kids and be a stay at home mom, obviously that was not the deck of cards that I was dealt, I’m single, no kids, I’ve had one hell of a life, never did I anticipate anything I would’ve gone through, I’m almost dying at least five times, sexual abuse as a child, my dad died when I was four, I can go on and on and on rape you name it. And what I thought growing up I was going to be, obviously didn’t pan out I was dealt a different deck of cards.  I’ve been self-employed since I was 16, I have a very successful business, dealing with everything from immigration, mortgages, taxes, real estate, you name it, problem-solving, Family Court, which is why I am so well-versed in almost everything, I self educated myself, in almost everything, for what college didn’t teach me, I volunteer at a community college, getting kids into school, doing their financial aid,  their payment plans etc.￼  did I dream of doing this as a child, absolutely not. But I think if you were focused and driven and can follow through and not give up I think anything is possible. But I also know that some kids have dreams and nothing becomes of them. My brother went to college for art and animation, and by the time he finished seven years later, 3-D started and everything he learned was obsolete. He never did anything with it except for working in grocery stores and Walmart, and he lives in my basement. With $175,000 in student loans. My adopted brother who we got when he was 13, after stealing cars and anything else, he’s a lawyer and former drug addict￼￼, He literally died three times cardiac arrest from drugs, he cleaned up his act, and he’s a lawyer, his student loans are so expensive a half million, that he’s paying $3500 a month and can’t afford to own a home or anything else.. Often times we make plans, but there’s different cards dealt for you. You never know what’s gonna happen in life, injuries, death of love ones, being homeless etc. Unfortunately you can’t plan life, life happens and you roll with the punches basically. We make the best of it. Life is a roller coaster, you make it through the hard times and you try and enjoy the good times.

I don’t have any wild dreams. I simply want to be content with life, to fall in genuine love and get married, have a few kids, maybe travel and see the world. I want to look back when I’m 80 and feel at peace with my life.

I mean, I feel like I am almost there tbh? And I think my expectations and methods of goal achieving are fairly realistic.
And! They don't rely upon other people much.
