My parents have a very friendly dog (Pepe - a rescue from Puerto Rico). On Christmas he licked my daughter’s hand and she burst into tears. She’s been scared of him since. 😢

She only sees him once every few weeks and he never gets in her face or anything but she is VERY concerned about him. Today she cried when I showed her a picture of him 😭

Anything we can do other than showing her that he’s friendly by petting him ourselves and making sure she sees him regularly?

Feeling like my baby is getting too sheltered in this pandemic...
