Is this thrush? Please answer!

Question

Is this thrush? I literally just had an appointment at pediatrician for baby and she never said anything. She checked the mouth. I noticed this and idk if it’s milk or spit up or thrush. I wiped with cloth but not much wiped off. What should I do? Schedule another appointment?

My sons tongue has a white and a thick look. We went yesterday and the doctor said thrush. She said they diagnose it through scrapping the tongue
to see if any comes off and sometimes a little does but the tongue usually bleeds after. 
She also said they usually don’t treat thrush unless you’re breastfeeding because then you guys are passing it back and fourth to each other. Or, with a formula fed baby, if they aren’t interested in eating or vomiting, they will treat it.
