You think you can spend this whole time never seeing your s/o due to covid?

At the start of covid I’ve been talking to a guy and we started to have something. We’ve done sexual acts over the phone and I’ve even gone over to see him a few times but because of covid it’s rare to see him. My family is super cautious of this whole covid so we’ve not been allowed to leave the house unless it’s grocery shopping. I know it’s disrespectful of me to see him but I just wanna be around him. My family doesn’t know of him, although I have an older brother who knows, he doesn’t approve of it although I know to how to handle myself. Could you spend the whole time apart from your s/o as long as covid is here?

I had to. I'm in Spain so when the situation gets worse they quarantine each city, meaning no one can get in or out. 
My partner and I are in different cities so we can't see each other for months at a time. It definitely isn't the best, but oh well. It works 🤷‍♀️

I didn't see my boyfriend for 9 months. Then spent 2 weeks with him . I'm now moving in with him to be together

My husband joined the military right before COVID hit. I didn’t get to see him for 7 months. He missed the birth of our first child. It sucks but a lot of people have had to make big sacrifices.

I have had to - I’m from England and they did a lock down for about 7 months to begin with so I couldn’t see my partner at all during the time, we were then allowed to be together for about 3ish months then apart for another month, then again together for about a month and now we are in another lockdown
We’ve been together nearly 5 years so not being able to be with each other is extremely difficult especially as his family and himself are at risk and I’m a carer who has to be with other people (so constantly at risk)
As long as you communicate properly with your loved one (messaging, FaceTiming, etc) then every couple should work out - it’s difficult, I had moments where I didn’t want to tell him anything just because he wasn’t here for me but you have to remember that you’re both in an uncontrollable situation and now is the time to lean on each other the most ❤️❤️

I don’t live with my partner so yeah I have gone months with out seein him and will have to do it again this year due to extend lockdown.
I know you want to see him but for the sake of your family and everyone’s well being you gotta hold off it’s not fair to put others at risk

I think it would be very difficult & have to be the right relationship for it to work.
I can't get to the person I'm dating because of it either. I'm usually fine, but today I'm kinda wishing we could see each other, mostly because partner has been stressed & I just want to be there for them.
We've been interested in each other since last summer. But I can't take chances with covid. I just want that vaccine!!!! So bad!!!
