I am currently on cycle day 47. I am 13 days late for a period but haven’t tested because I’ve been ‘sterilized’ had my tubes removed a year ago. This is abnormal for me to go this long without a period. Would it be worth it to test?

Definitely worth it to test. Better to be safe than sorry. Pregnancy is still possible with having that surgery and if pregnancy does occur, your life is at risk. Worst case scenario when taking a test is you waste a couple dollars (there are .99 ones if money really is an issue) because it turns out negative. But honestly, that's the best case scenario for your health. You may also want to take into consideration your age, start of menopause, and/or other medical conditions you may have that could impact your cycle.

I mean, how could you get pregnant if you don’t have Fallopian tubes? There would be no where for the sperm to go. You could test but I don’t see how pregnancy would be possible without having Fallopian tubes.
