Is it wrong to cheat back in revenge?

Why would I want to degrade myself to that level? 
Someone wants to cheat on me, my “revenge” is ending the relationship, doing better and continuing to love myself.

In all honesty, if you feel the need to cheat back , you've got some growing up to do . Sure it was wrong of them to cheat on you , but to cheat back is just stooping to a lower level.  As a woman , I would never drop down to try and get revenge. 9/10 the cheater won't care anyways.

Revenge cheating is petty and pointless. It isnt going to make you feel any better. What will make you feel better is being able to say you arent a cheater.

Well yeah, two wrongs don't make a right, they make a toxic relationship that should lead to break up or therapy. 
I don't think revenge cheating is an appropriate response, or a healthy one. 
You could decide you are fed up & can't trust your partner & leave.
You could decide mutually to open up the relationship. 
You could decide to heal the relationship mutually, do counseling, read relationship books together and rebuild trust. 
Making it worse is not a good option.

Now that I’m older... cheating regardless is never ok. When my ex and I were together, he cheated a lot in many different ways. Sooo I did the same.. not necessarily for revenge but because I felt stuck and needed to feel better about myself than how he was making me feel. Once I finally left him, I realized I wasn’t any better than him. Don’t stoop to their level. End it and move on.

Honestly it just fuels the fire. You both constantly feel the need to get back at each other. It's so dissatisfying and not even worth it. 
Just leave. It's not worth the mental stress and heartache in the end.

I’d honestly do it, just so he can be upset about it and then I’d move on and leave. Don’t really care if it makes me look bad to him because I won’t be with him anymore. Maybe it’s immature but Oh well if it helps me then I’ll be selfish
