Menstrual Cup for TTC

I have been TTC for 2 years now, and I’m looking for new ways to try and conceive. I am part of an online TTC group where someone said they read about other people using menstrual cups to conceive: either by using it right after ejaculation, or having the man ejaculate into it before inserting it. Then keeping it in overnight. Menstrual cups can be used for 12 hours at a time, so should be safe. The idea is that is encourages sperm to swim ‘one way’ through the cervix.

I have a cup already and I plan on trying it out next cycle. So ladies, is this an interesting ‘outside the box’ tactic, or does it seem a little strange?
