Formula feeding mums or mixed feeding!
Edit. I don't think I was clear! . I know they don't physically need a feed but baby wakes up hungry at 4 -5 am and clearly gets frustrated on the breast because there isn't enough milk. I have tried a bottle but she won't take it. But I'm pretty sure if she did take her bottle, she'd go back to sleep fine. So wondering how you give a bottle at nighttime before baby gets too frustrated and without waking them up further. She just looks puzzled and doesn't react. But gets annoyed on the breast because of no milk. So I'm stuck
Looking for advice. Baby was ebf until 4 months and we started introducing formula here and there and now at 6.5 months, baby is daytime formula fed (at daycare) and gets breast in the evening and at night/morning. Recently, logically my milk production has decreased in particular for the evening /night feeds. I've tried to give a bottle at night to no avail - baby looks confused and half asleep and doesn't react /mouth closed. It's just the opposite daytime. She loves the bottle. So my question is how do you do night feeds with a bottle without fully waking them up? I m used to breastfeeding to sleep or drowsy. Thanks !!!
