Sometimes I get so frustrated with my man. It irks me so much that he CANNOT have a grown up conversation without interrupting me or going over what I say. I get tired of him not be able to listen and just be calm. Not EVERY disagreement we have has to be an argument!

There’s times where he handles the conversation so well, but majority of the time I want to whack him (not literally) because he turns the disagreement into something bigger. Conversations about chores or errands shouldn’t have to be arguments. Air out the facts, talk about them, find a compromise and there. Why should there be blaming and raising tones and eye rolling with heavy sighs that turns into yelling or asking rhetorical questions just cause you want to be a dick?

Is it until kids come along that they realize they can’t continue to act like that? When they’re in their 30s? It’s just frustrating and I’ve talked about it with him so many times I’ve lost count. I’ll tell him to cut his tone and he gets more upset. Stop yelling and he gets more upset. No cursing and he gets more upset. It’s stupid and I want a man who can just sit down and talk about things.
