Placenta praevia mommas?!

Question

So I was told last week I have pp. I am pregnant w identical twins. The doctor tells me not to really worry as it is early and as my uterus grows there is chance it will move out of the way. I am 17 wks Fri and go for my full anatomy scan the 11th of dec. Is there any other momas out there with pp and could let me know how you are doing if its moved etc

I was told I have a complete PP too and I'm almost 14 weeks Wednesday...my doctor also told me not to worry because the placenta could move up, I have a u/s the 7th to see if any things changed..he did take me out of work and put me on pelvic rest. And more then likely if I stay having PP I will have to have a c-section.

At 20 weeks I was told the placenta is a bit lower than it should be, but not to worry that my uterus is no where near done growing and most likely the placenta will move up.

On the bright side I get another ultrasound in a few weeks to check the progress. Most people don't get another ultrasound after 20 weeks till the baby is due.

I was told that I had PP as well at my 18 weeks ultrasound. I am 20 weeks now. Will probably have another ultrasound the week of Christmas to check it again. Apparently as the uterus grows it can expand upwards and away from the cervix. I had never even heard of this stuff before! It can be a bit scary. I hope all goes well for you. Good luck! I wish I could tell you more.
