3/12 Con’t.

So I called the other office and spoke with the nurse. Said I didn’t get my bloodwork until 10:45 am and she said she would check to see if it was in (I called at 1:30 pm). That’s when she said it was actually in and it did increase! It’s not at 3195. So she said she would talk to the doctor in the office and call me back with the direction that they thought was most appropriate. She called me at like 2:05 pm saying that as long as I’m not experiencing any major issues (ectopic) that she was going to go ahead and put in paperwork for an ultrasound this Monday. I asked if that was too soon since my last one was just this past Tuesday. She said no. So I found a place in their group of servicers about 45 minutes away for an appt at 12:10 pm. Now I’m really not sure what will happen if nothing is seen by then. Until then, we just hope for good news since my hcg numbers are rising.

3/12 On Tuesday I had my ultrasound appt. They ruled out ectopic pregnancy but only could see a fluid filled gestational sac (for now). At this appt, I should have been 5 weeks 6 days. Now that is early for a scan and with me getting pregnant right after my miscarriage, it’s possible the dates could be wrong. So for now, they are classifying my pregnancy as “a pregnancy of unknown location”. The techs suggested a follow up scan in 14 days. When I spoke with my doctors office nurse, she said the doctor is more than likely going to want to do another scan in a week. Until then, she ordered bloodwork for Wednesday. It was ordered as STAT so we got the results that day. My hcg was coming in at 2024 which was right around what my doctor thought that it would be on Monday. Today, Friday the 12th, I had more follow up bloodwork and the results should come in today. Unfortunately my doctors office closes at 2 and they seem to come in around 3 pm. I’m still to call the office though to follow up with the one nurse that is taking over my stuff since my regular nurse is out until Monday. I dunno, I think if the numbers don’t rise as much from Wednesday, this won’t be good. But I am trying to remain positive and hope that if I do need another ultrasound that something will now be there as I am 6 weeks 2 days today, the 12th.

So I left for my bloodwork appt at 10:15 am. I arrived and the phlebotomist asks if I had paperwork. I said no, it should have been sent in per my doctors nurse who I spoke with Thursday. So the phlebotomist said she would check to see if paperwork was faxed it - it wasn’t. That’s when she suggested to call my doctors office. I called them up and was immediately transferred to the nurse I have been speaking with. She said something along the lines of, “oh yea, I spoke with your doctor about your Friday bloodwork and he said no more is needed. By now, today - Monday, it should be almost 2,000 according to your 524 numbers from Friday. Instead he’s ordering an ultrasound for tomorrow.” I now have the ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow, at 3:20 pm. Here’s to crossing every possible body part for good results tomorrow.

Had my bloodwork done on Friday 3/5. Results came through this morning. They’re at 524. So they’re rising and most definitely doubling. I won’t know if we are getting somewhere until Monday and by then, I will have had bloodwork done Monday morning also. At the rate the results are coming in at, I should know Mondays numbers on Tuesday. Still very nervous because of course I went down the google rabbit hole and am nervous this could be an ectopic pregnancy. Not showing any signs but still. Getting to over 2,000 seems so far away. So I’m wondering if they will order an ultrasound when I hit what I think I should be at 6 weeks which would be Wednesday.

My bloodwork from 3/3 just came through this morning. I got tired of waiting for my doctors office to call so I called lol They said that my numbers rose beautifully (239 - almost tripled from 95) but typically they would like to see them get over 2,000 because by then they usually can see viability in a scan and a heartbeat. So I’m slightly worrying now. I have bloodwork once again tomorrow morning and I’m sure results won’t come in until Saturday and they’ll be closed by then. Hoping that my hcg numbers continue to rise and we get to a comfortable spot. Until then, we wait some more and hope that I can get to the point where I can schedule that first appointment 🤞🏻

So I saw that I had my bloodwork results in yesterday but didn’t want to post until I spoke with the doctors office which was just this afternoon. They said that it’s showing positive but I am to retest my bloodwork tomorrow. I will continue doing that until I get to a number that they feel comfortable with (I’m currently at at 95 as of yesterday). And if it doesn’t keep increasing, I’ll have to meet with the doctor to figure out next steps. Oh how I am hoping that they keep doubling 😩

So it’s my daughters 18 month appt at 9:30 am tomorrow then my scheduled appt for bloodwork at 10:45 am.

So on Sunday I purchased some Clearblue digital tests and some First Response rapid tests. Both came up pregnant. I spoke with the doctors office this morning and they put in for bloodwork ASAP. I described to them all my dates, between ovulation strips to the pregnancy tests showing clear negatives and then getting darker after a certain DPO. I should have results today on that bloodwork. So fingers crossed it’s a pregnancy and not somehow leftover stuff from my miscarriage. Will update as soon as I have results!
