Does anyone have any experiences on dating a compulsive liar?

I love my man and he’s good majority of the time. But he tells compulsive lies here and there, to the point I genuinely think he convinces himself of his lie as he’s so good at it and so believable - sometimes it can be about important things in our relationship it’s really concerning and leads to fights. After a few years I just don’t know if I’m prepared to live with it the rest of my life as I just never know what to believe.

Is there anything I can do to get him to snap out of the compulsive lying and just be honest or do I need to kick him to the curb and try to move on?
