Hello! Due at the end of October and I work in Washington. I will be able and qualify for the Washington FMLA when I am due for maternity leave but I have a question about the rules of the FMLA? I work at a dental office and we will be closed for two weeks in December for the holidays, if I read the FMLA rules right I don’t think that goes towards my 12 weeks of maternity leave, because I would not have been required to work at that time due to the office being closed? 🤷🏽‍♀️ curious if anyone has any experience with the FMLA? I work for a super family oriented dentist and heard a rumor his wife is due a few days before I am so her and I will be in the same boat!
