Type 2 diabetic taking insulin?

Anyone is pregnant here and have diabetis and taking insulin? Or any success story of pregnancy while youre taking insulin or have type 2 diabetes? I have type 2 diabetes and I’m 18 weeks. Metformin doesnt seem to work for me and the doctor said that insulin might be the next option and I’m scared.

I’m type 2 and take insulin I’m 14 weeks pregnant it works just fine

It's better to take it than not if you don't and your diabetes can effect the baby during an episode also add would you rather risk harming yourself with your diabetes than not taking meds
