How does hemorrhaging occur after birth? I know what hemorrhaging is, what it involves, and what it does but how does it happen? I don’t understand the concept of how it actually happens. They say because your uterus isn’t contracting right but I still don’t understand necessarily why it needs to contract to stop bleeding? Is it the uterus that’s bleeding? I want to know how it happens and what it involves more in detail. Also, what causes it to happen during labor versus after birth? I promise I’m not stupid I just don’t understand.
