anxiety medicine while pregnant?

I absolutely will not take anything without a prescription or without talking to my Dr first, but has anybody been prescribed anything for anxiety/depression while pregnant?

Yes yes yes and thank god for it.  Would’ve been lovely to not take it for the sake of my pregnancy but i wouldn’t have been able to cope . Spoke to my doc and he said my health was just as important as the baby and if i needed it , there should be no reason to not take it. I’m on Zoloft. I take it everyday faithfully.  Prior to pregnancy i was on lexapro but it just wasn’t working for Me anymore.  Meds have allowed me to actually enjoy and focus on my
Pregnancy and not be a basket case , depressed , mad woman constantly worried in bed 24/7.

I was taking Zoloft (generic brand - sertraline) 50mg before I got pregnant specifically because we were trying and I wanted something that was well researched and considered one of the safest meds to take while pregnant. Once I got pregnant and after about 7 weeks, I decided I wanted to ween off of it so I went down to 25mg for just a little more than a week, then stopped completely.

Yup I take sertraline I’m prescribed 50mg pill a day but I take half a pill every other day with this pregnancy but my last pregnancy I took 50mg daily the whole pregnancy ...
