Did anyone’s dogs/pet get clingy right before birth?

Just curious because my dog generally doesn’t care about me whatsoever. But the last two days he won’t stop following me. And I’ve been getting heaps of lightening crotch/vaginal pain. And also this dooming feeling that the baby will be here soon (which I am not even slightly ready yet 😰)

So I’m only 7 weeks, but my cat, Ella, has been essentially up my ass since about ~5ish days before my positive test! Before, she was his cat - couldn’t be bothered with me, even though I did most of the kitty care. Now, she won’t leave my side, loves to lay on my tummy and knead my boobs, launches a full-on temper tantrum if my husband closes the door at night, and we even had to set up a cat bed next to my desk so she can sit there and supervise me while I work during the day 😂 My other cat’s behaviour hasn’t changed basically at all, but Ella won’t leave me alone!
