How can I help my toddler sleep alone?

My toddler is insistent that I sleep in her bed with her. I'll lay her down and go back to our room when she's asleep but she'll wake up and cry, stand in our door way, wont come into our room, won't lay back down until I go into her room. She just turned 4 and has a full sized bed (our old bed) so I'm able to fit but I miss sleeping in my own bed with my SO. Any ideas or recommendations to help her sleep in her own bed by herself?

*edit* she has an elsa night light that plugs into the wall and some fairy lights hanging from her ceiling. I turn the fairy lights off once she's asleep. Should I keep them on? They're kind of bright even on the lowest setting.
