I have had many mixed opinions off people about my choice to have a child. I would like to point out that I was on the contraceptive pill when I became pregnant.

Since then I have had severe hyperemises and was in hospital for the first 6 months of my pregnancy. I am now on very strong medication that people suffering with leukemia take.

There were times I thought I couldn't take it anymore but knowing that my child was inside me, I pulled through and carried on.

I would not have been able to get this far without the loving support of my boyfriend. We have nearly lost our child on numerous occasions, with bleeding, birth defects and genetic illnesses..

People doubt my abilities of being a good mother. Granted I have doubted myself at times but if my pregnancy has taught me anything it is that I love our child more than my own life and I will do anything in my power to make sure they're okay.

I may not be able to buy all the top brands or go to Disney land every month but I will be able to give our child the love, support and guidance that they need.

To anyone else who is having a child but is not seen to be of a 'socially acceptable age' then don't listen to people who have intentions to bring you down. You can do it. Just believe in yourself!

All the best x
