Third trimester how is sleep going for you ?

Me tonight. I know I’m not alone but day time at work asleep. As soon as it’s bed time it’s like Chuck Norris lessons going on.

Baby boy is very wiggly at night but that isn't what keeps me up. My hips and legs ache horribly, I am a super light sleeper (I wake up when the cat walks in the room or my husband rolls over), I have to pee every 1.5 hours and for whatever reason I just wake up super often.

I've been taking unisom + b6 for hg this entire pregnancy, so that has helped with sleep, albeit not intentionally. However, even with the unisom I usually get about a solid 3-4 hours or so before i'm up every hour too pee and roll over to relieve my hip pain. Can't imagine how bad the insomnia would be without unisom.

Last night was the first time in a month I didn’t get up to pee and it was amazing. But most nights are baby moving, keeping me up, and rotating between right/left sides to get comfy.

Horrible it’s 1:18 am right now and I’m up on the edge of our king bed with my 3 year old DD who still sleeps with us all over me and baby moving like he’s playing sports in there. All the moving will prob lead me to the bathroom soon and the cycle continues through out the night. I’m 35 weeks and ready for this to be over even though I’ll really be up every 2-3 hours when he arrives anyways so there’s no winning lol although I won’t have the pelvic/hip pain I have right now

I would sleep well if I wasn’t up peeing at least 3 times a night.

Ive been sleeping okay ..  but I still pee at least 1-2x, am always dying of thirst at night, and when i wake up my body feels so stiff as though i just ran a marathon the day before 🥲

I’ve been dealing with hip pain that leads to constant turning and extreme acrobatics that scare me so much that I fear baby is going to pop out of my skin. 
On top of that excruciating pelvic girdle pain makes it so hard to lift one leg to wrap my body around my body pillow. My groin hurts all the time no matter what I do or wear or don’t wear. Lol 
what helps me absolutely sleep through the night is no liquids by 8:30 pm, a bath before bed, extremely dark room, a fan on low, and a barricade of pillows carefully orchestrated to comfort me. I don’t have the energy or restraint for the bath or constant pillow fort every night (and the liquid rule, I’m notorious for drinking water in my sleep) so I do this about every other day. All without unisom! It works like a charm for me, hope you find something that best suits you and your needs mama❤️
