Have any other plus size mamas had any problem with anatomy ultrasounds? I visit a maternal fetal medicine specialty office and I’ve had three visits there already (been seen there since 18weeks) and they keep telling me “baby isn’t cooperating, let’s have you come back in 4 weeks” which is just a nice way of them saying my fat is why they can’t see everything. (I know for sure because I work for the same health system and looked at the notes in my medical record). Anyways, my fourth appointment with them is coming up at the end of the month and I might lose it if they tell me this again. I know I’m big, I’m 5ft and 270 pounds currently 26weeks but there’s plenty of people around my size or larger; is this really that common?

I’ve also tried drinking tons of water before my ultrasound to help with clarity, still told the same thing. 😞 What’s your experience ladies?
