About C-sections
Today my doctor set a date for a c-section. Since my daughter is growing behind (only by 2 weeks 3days) they want her out earlier than her due date. She of course is breeched so we have to do a c-section. The doctor offered an ECV (flipping her over externally) but I'm not comfortable with that. He said because she's smaller she may not do well being moved. He said it's a low chance things will go wrong but he doesn't know how low. So I think I'll stick with a c-section. I unfortunately won't have very much help at home. I'm moving into my own place to get away from my parents (the are substance abusers and violent when drunk). My babies dad will help me but he's going to be working a lot. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to care for a baby right after such a big surgery. I heard it can be painful and difficult to carry a baby. Also I would love to hear some c-section experiences. I've never had surgery before so I'm pretty nervous! Thank you so much! ☺️
