How can I get help from my husband with the baby he’s almost 9 months old and my husband has never been alone with him for more than 5 mins. My moms been in town helping out and I asked him to start helping so we had a regimen down before my mom leaves back to Florida. I work 15 hour days 3 days a week, so I would love to rely on my husband to help out with the baby but he just doesn’t seem to think he needs to because his life line, aka his mom, lives within arms reach. His mindset is well my mom will take care of him everything is ok I’m worrying too much. It would be nice but my MIL and I do not have a relationship because of her enabling son’s behavior that she continues to do. (In their culture, the woman/ daughter in law does everything) so me asking my husband to help is like a joke to them. So I’m just not sure how to go about getting him to physically help out to give me a peace of mind while I’m at work.
