Personally, and only personally, I'm a virgin because a penis hasn't entered my vagina. 
HOWEVER, it is important to realize that virginity is a social term and that it is defined differently to every individual. Especially considering that your hymen can break from physical activity, or your sexual orientation.

I've only had sexual relations with other females. And I no longer consider myself a virgin. However, there has never been a penis involved. 
First of all, I believe "virginity" is a social construct created by humans to degrade women. (As stated by another)
Also, many people have different "definitions" of virginity and that's ok. Draw the line where you're comfortable.
