Anybody feeling like they don't have "enough"?

I'm 36 weeks and I was just getting my baby boys nursery ready...& I just feel like we are lacking so much compared to a lot of people! We have everything baby needs but it just feels like the bare minimum and I feel bad. We don't live anywhere near family or friends so we haven't had any baby showers....Anybody else feel that way? (He has more clothes in the drawers)

It is clear that you care for your baby and you want to spoil him which is natural but don't worry the more important things are warmth food and love he doesn't care about how much you bought him. You have done great! 💗

I was feeling this too! I was actually surprised how much difference the decor makes. Just something about seeing it all together and the nursery all made up and stuff made it different! Suddenly the things that I hung up on the walls and the rug I put on the floor brought it all together. 
Don't beat yourself up! You don't have to have every single thing right now. There's always time to get more! No matter how fast it seems like they grow, baby will still be baby for awhile. And, like you said, you have everything your baby needs and that's more than a lot of people have (not to make you feel guilty, I hate when people play the guilt card). But definitely just relax and enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy!❤️❤️❤️

You are doing just fine, because half the stuff may end up being to little or just forget to put it on them and they out grow it quickly lol

Everybody is different but I have tried almost every diaper out there and with my first it was pampers no matter what. With my boyfriends son we have tried them all and I have learned the next best diaper to pampers is actually walmarts brand parents choice! They hold up over night and have never had a problem with diaper rash with them and the wipes. And they are very cost effective! I noticed you have a lot of luvs and I honestly found that they end up leaking and become very uncomfortable for baby. I just thought I would spread that bit of experience. I love your nursery! And I don't think you are lacking anything. Another lesson learned from experience is the diaper genie is a big waste of $$$ and a major pain in the butt!! This time around we went for the garbage can that you step on to open!!

It looks to me as though you have the things you need. Baby will need your love, time & comfort most. Maybe your are just going through a nesting period & that's contributed to you not feeling ready. You can always save up for things that baby may made need as the time comes!
